MER OIL is high quality artists oil colours, meeting the expectations of artists, students and hobbists. They are made of highest quality raw materials, which guarantee high light resistance, strong dying power, stability and clarity of colours. All of the colours have a similar "butter" like consistency, are semi-gloss, mix with eachother very well, also with oil paints of other firms. The production of our paints is based on the recipes of old masters, taking into account the requirements ecological products must be up to. These paints do not contain pigments harmful to health: - leaded white (lead) - chrome yellow (lead) - cinnabar (mercury) Our paints dry in room temperature and air humidity of 60% in about 2 to 10 days, depending on the colour. In case of the need to have the paint dry faster, e.g. in open air or studio works, one can add siccative (dry) in minimal amount, remembering however about its harmfull effect on the painting. The best properties of a paint can be achived only by drying it in a natural way. Our MER OIL are the so called clear oil artists colours, which contain do not natural or synthetic resins, waxes or stearines; thanks to this they dry softly, without the tendency to crack, and the artist, using different media, is able to freely adjus tthe paint on the palette to individual preferences. Our paints have symbols consistent with international standards. On every tube there is the following information: the name in English and Polish, the pigmental composition, symbols of the pigments according to the Colour Index Pigment, the catalogue number, light durability, the degree of opacity, the price group and the capacity. The guaranteed period of storage in the original closed producer packaging is 3 years.
